The leaves are lanceolate, bright yellow throughout the season, turning orange, red, or copper-bronze in autumn. It blooms from July to September, with pink flowers collected in flat corymb-like inflorescences. The flowers have a pleasant aroma and attract insects. This variety is a recipient of the prestigious Award of Garden Merit (AGM) from the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) of Great Britain.
