An American-bred variety. The earliest among thornless varieties. Begins fruiting from mid-July. Shoots are strong, upright, and grow between 1.5 to 2.5 meters long. The ripe berry is short-conical in shape, firm, glossy, and deep black in color. It is distinguished by its pleasant taste, and many growers consider this blackberry one of the best in terms of flavor and aroma balance. The seeds are small and light, almost unnoticeable, which is highly appreciated by blackberry enthusiasts.
The bush is frost-resistant. To increase yield, pinching the shoot tips is practiced.
