Bloomulus Hydrangeas – New for 2025/2026: Compact Series for Balconies, Terraces, and Containers

Bloomulus Hydrangeas – New for 2025/2026: Compact Series for Balconies, Terraces, and Containers

Bloomulus Hydrangeas — The Revolutionary Series of 2025

The Hydrangea paniculata Bloomulus series is one of the most anticipated premieres of 2025. These compact, resilient, and exceptionally decorative hydrangeas were bred by the HBA consortium (Heuger, Agriom, Kötterheinrich) in response to the growing demand for greenery on balconies, terraces, and in small garden spaces.

The main feature of the series is the ability to bloom fully even in a P14 pot, making Bloomulus the ideal solution for:

  • balconies (wind-resistant, low-growing);
  • terraces and patios;
  • urban courtyards and mini-gardens;
  • planting in containers and large planters;
  • compact gardens with limited space;
  • cemeteries and memorial zones;
  • mixed compositions and container plantings with minimal care.

Winter hardiness down to –29°C makes the series fully adapted to the climate of Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania. All varieties have strong shoots, require no growth retardants, do not flop over, and maintain their shape perfectly.
