Grown in flower beds, on balconies, and terraces, these vibrant plants add a splash of color to any environment. Flowers bloom from May to June and, when planted in spring, provide an extended viewing period by blooming again in August and September. The bright blossoms sit atop plants that reach a height of 25 cm.
For optimal growth, choose a sunny, wind-sheltered location with neutral soil. Prior to planting, bulbs should be soaked in room-temperature water for 24 hours, then transferred to moist soil. Proper storage of bulbs is essential; keep them at a stable temperature of +10 – +17 °C in a well-ventilated room until planting.
