Begonia L.
Perennial flowers with long-lasting, abundant blooms. Perfect for hanging baskets, pots, or balcony boxes. Plant tubers from February to April in 6–9 cm pots with fertile, light soil. Germination may be slow and uneven. Transfer outdoors in late May or early June once the frost risk has subsided. DOES NOT OVERWINTER IN THE GROUND. Uproot in mid-September to October, dry the tubers, and store at 4–6 ˚C for the winter months.
