GLADIOLUS L.
Perennial bulbous flowers ideal for vibrant flower gardens.
Height: Varies based on cultivation conditions.
Maturity: Racemes are picked when 2 blossoms open and 3-4 buds are colored.
Grows optimally in open, sunny, wind-protected locations with medium-light or loamy soil. Regular watering is necessary during drought conditions, approximately 3-4 buckets per 1 sq. m.
For successive planting, wait 4-5 years before replanting in the same spot. Prior to planting, bulbs should be soaked for 30 minutes in a potassium permanganate solution or 0.2% fungicide.
**Important:** DO NOT LEAVE IN THE SOIL DURING WINTER. Bulbs should be dug up in the second half of September. Store dried bulbs at a temperature of 4-6 °C over winter to ensure proper preservation.
Please be aware that shipping of potatoes, onions, garlic, and flower bulbs is not possible when temperatures fall below 0°C, as they require precise temperature control to prevent spoilage.
