A German variety with beautiful blue, fragrant flowers, arranged in long, botrytic inflorescences. The leaves are pinnate, green in summer and yellow in autumn. Shoots twine around supports. It flowers best in warm, sunny, sheltered locations. Requires strong supports. It may freeze in winter.
Especially recommended for planting near gazebos and walls. The variety was bred at Arboretum Ellerhoop in Germany.
