A tall (2.0–2.5 m) ornamental shrub with beautiful bright green, elongated heart-shaped leaves. The snow-white double flowers have a rose-like shape due to their broad petals with inward-curved tips. The buds are grouped into dense, wide-pyramidal panicle inflorescences up to 20 cm long. Abundant blooming, accompanied by a pleasant fragrance, begins in the third decade of May and lasts 2–3 weeks.
