Medium Early Nantes Type Variety
Vegetation period is 110–115 days. Roots are 18–20 cm long with a blunt end. Core is small and round, with orange flesh. Roots are resistant to cracking.
Grows best in cultivated, humus-rich, light loam or sandy loam soil that is not soggy. Carrots should be sown in the same spot only after 4–5 years.
Seed Tape Advantages: Harvests are more abundant and of better quality. Cultivation is orderly, with equal spaces between lines. This makes weeding and covering with gardening film easier and more convenient. Before laying the tapes, water the soil. Cover the tape with soil and water generously.
A 4 m long tape can yield about 350 high-quality root crops, or a harvest of 30–40 kg.
