ROCKET
A leafy vegetable perfect for salads. Grows quickly and doesn't need special soil. Fresh and aromatic peppery leaves are great for cooking. Pairs well with cheese, can be added to salads, or used as a garnish. Quick growth means multiple sowings offer a summer-long supply of these aromatic leaves. Can be grown with lettuce, on windowsills, in pots, or outdoor beds.
Best taste and nutrition are in young leaves about 10–12 cm, around 3–4 weeks old. For a steady supply, sow seeds several times during the season. Seed tape benefits: larger and better harvests. Seeds germinate faster and evenly with enough water. Before planting tapes, water the soil, then cover the tape with soil and water well.
