Description:

A shrub reaching up to 2.5 m in height, with an annual growth of about 30 cm. Shoots are stiff and upright. Leaves are elongated-lanceolate, up to 6 cm long; light green in summer and turning yellow in autumn. Flowers are white, double, gathered in narrow panicles. It blooms in June–July. Grows well both in full sun and in shade. Prefers moist soils. One of the most beautiful varieties. It grows quickly, is fairly heat-loving and drought-tolerant, and develops well in urban conditions. Looks excellent in group plantings in the foreground, borders, for creating woodland edges, and as a solitary plant on lawns. Deutzia has a remarkable quality: even after severe freezing down to the snow cover, the shoots regrow and the plant flowers in the same year.
