Black currant 'Titania' is a mid-season Swedish variety. The bushes are vigorous (up to 1.5 meters tall), upright, densely leafed with thick, long, upright shoots. The crown is rounded, leaves are large, bright green, and slightly wrinkled. The berries are black with a slight gloss, round, uneven in size, weighing on average 1.5–2.5 g, and gathered in long compact clusters. The flesh is not watery, greenish in color, with a pronounced sweet-and-sour taste. The aroma is strong and distinctive. This variety is highly self-fertile, ensuring abundant fruit set even without quality cross-pollination. 'Titania' has excellent frost resistance, drought tolerance, and high resistance to most diseases, including anthracnose, powdery mildew, and white and brown leaf spot.
