Arabella is a clematis variety with light purple flowers that later develop a rich blue shade. Its main advantages are abundant and long-lasting flowering, as well as good tolerance to rainfall and varying light conditions. The plant does not grow very tall and prefers to spread along the ground, but when the shoots are tied, it can reach up to 1.5 metres in height. This variety fully lives up to the description “easy to care for”, and even more so. Clematis Arabella is definitely a variety for a “lazy gardener”, provided it is not too difficult to cut back and remove the shoots that grew during the summer in autumn.
