Latin name: Clematis 'Taiga'
This new Japanese clematis cultivar produces deep blue flowers with striking greenish-white tips on the petals. The blooms remain attractive and change subtly throughout the long flowering period.
Flowering is very prolonged, continuing from early summer into autumn. It prefers a sunny to partially shaded position and does not tolerate very hot growing sites. In spring, prune back to about 50 cm.
