Cardiocrinum Giganteum

Giant Cardiocrinum (Cardiocrinum giganteum) is an impressive bulbous plant that grows up to 4–5 meters tall. It has a strong stem and large heart-shaped leaves that change color from bronze to dark green. In mid-summer, it produces beautiful raceme-like inflorescences with 5–20 large white funnel-shaped flowers, featuring a delicate fragrance and reddish-brown stripes in the throat. After flowering, the mother bulb dies back, leaving offset bulbs for propagation.
