Perennial bulb flowers cultivated in flower gardens. Inflorescences should be picked when 2 flowers unfold and 3-4 flower buds show color.
Grows best in an open, sunny location protected from winds, in medium-light or loamy soil.
Needs watering during drought, using 3-4 buckets of water per 1 sq. m.
Practice crop rotation every 4-5 years.
Bulbs require soaking for half an hour before planting.
Not able to overwinter in the ground.
Should be dug up in the second half of September. Dried tubers should be stored at a temperature of 4-6 ˚C during winter.
