Perennial bulb flowers bring vibrant color to your garden. These beauties are ideally grown in flower gardens, with inflorescences best picked when 2 flowers unfold and 3-4 flower buds show color for optimal beauty.
For best results, plant in open, sunny locations that are protected from winds. Choose medium-light or loamy soil, and ensure to water during drought conditions—use 3-4 buckets of water per 1 sq. m. Practice a crop rotation of 4-5 years to maintain soil health.
Before planting, soak bulbs for half an hour. As they are not able to overwinter in the ground, dig them up in the second half of September. Store dried tubers at a controlled temperature of 4-6 ˚C during winter for preservation.
