GLADIOLUS L.
Perennial bulbous flowers perfect for enhancing any flower garden. Ideal for creating stunning arrangements, racemes should be picked when two blossoms have opened and 3-4 buds show color.
Growth Requirements: Thrives in open, sunny spots protected from the wind. Prefers medium-light or loamy soil. Ensure adequate watering during drought conditions, offering 3-4 buckets per square meter. Rotate planting locations every 4-5 years for best results. Prior to planting, soak bulbs for 30 minutes in potassium permanganate solution or a 0.2% fungicide.
Winter Care: Do not leave bulbs in the soil over winter. Dig them up in the second half of September. Keep dried bulbs in storage at a temperature of 4-6 °C during winter months.
Important shipping note: Potatoes, onion, garlic, and flower bulbs cannot be shipped when temperatures drop below 0°C. Proper temperature control is crucial to prevent spoilage. Thank you for your understanding!
