Description: The shrub grows up to 50 cm in height and spreads up to 100 cm in width. The shoots are branched and trailing, reaching up to 40 cm in length. The uniqueness of ‘Runaway Bride’ lies not only in its ampelous form but also in its early flowering, which begins as early as May. The second wave of flowering starts in the second half of summer and continues until frost. The sterile, snow-white flowers reach up to 5 cm in diameter and appear not only at the ends of the shoots but also from lateral leaf axils, giving the hydrangea an exceptionally striking appearance. As temperatures drop, the flowers take on a delicate pink tint. In summer, the leaves are dark green, smooth, and up to 12 cm long, turning burgundy in autumn.
