A compact shrub up to 80 cm tall and 40 cm wide. Inflorescence length is 20–25 cm. The shoots are strong and reddish. The inflorescences are elongated and conical, large, composed mainly of sterile flowers with a small number of fertile ones. At the beginning of flowering, they are white, then turn creamy, and finally become raspberry-pink. Blooms from July to September.
