Height of the stem: 50-60 cm

Description: The Meyer lilac 'Palibin' on a standard is a dwarf variety with slow growth, grafted onto a trunk. The crown of the variety is compact, round in shape, with a diameter of about 60 cm. The leaves are elliptical, very small, dark green on top, bare, lighter underneath, with fuzz along the veins observable. The flowers are small, pale lilac in shade, the inflorescences have a conical shape, their length ranges from 3 to 10 cm. The advantage of the variety is its early onset of flowering. The process begins in late spring or early summer. A second wave of flowering is possible, but not as profuse. The scent of the flowers is distinctly perceptible. The variety is noted for its resistance to dust, smoke, and gases, which is why it is commonly used in urban courtyards and school playgrounds. The variety is not too finicky about soil, grows in soil with poor composition, but the best flowering is observed in slightly alkaline or slightly acidic soils. The shade of the flowers also depends on the soil composition. It withstands frosts well: if the shrub does freeze, it then recovers quite quickly. It also tolerates dry climates well. Prefers to grow in sunny areas in loose soil, where water does not stagnate. Frost hardiness zone 3 (down to -40°C).
