Oakleaf hydrangea ‘Tara’ (Hydrangea quercifolia ‘Tara’) is a striking variety with large, double, dense white inflorescences resembling a “sponge”, and oak-shaped leaves that turn vivid shades of red, bronze, and purple in autumn, creating a spectacular autumn display. The plant reaches a height of 1.2–1.8 m, prefers moist, well-drained soils, sun or light partial shade, and has good winter hardiness down to –28 °C.
