Description: This is a perennial plant with sturdy, bristly stems, 80-100 cm tall. The leaves are basal, large, and pinnately divided. The flowers are single, up to 18 cm in diameter. It is valued for its early flowering (mid-May to mid-June), robust bush under which weeds hardly grow, and the size and brightness of the flowers.
