Flowers are small and form bright clusters. These flowers grow well in a sunny, warm spot with loose, water-permeable, fertile soil. Basketgrass should be watered with salty water.
Perfect for dry flower bouquets, they keep their color when dried. Seeds are sown in boxes, and seedlings are replanted to the open field in May. Statice are resistant to short-term frost.
