Description: Characterized by vigorous and rapid growth (producing many leaves in a short time), although the bushes themselves are low-growing. The leaf blade is light green and sits on a thick petiole. The bisexual flowers are borne on branched and numerous flower stalks that are level with the foliage or slightly drooping to the ground. ‘Dukat’ is classified as a dessert variety, ideal for fresh consumption and processing. It is a non-remontant variety, fruiting once per season. ‘Dukat’ is mid-early and produces a uniform harvest in late June to early July (later in northern regions). With proper care, the yield is 1–2 kg per bush. The berries detach easily from the stem, making harvesting easier. The fruit does not become smaller throughout the entire fruiting period.
