Strawberry variety ‘Jenkka’ (Jenkka) is a new, mid-season, high-yielding cultivar from the Netherlands (Fresh Forward breeding). It stands out for its very tasty, sweet, and juicy berries with high sugar content (Brix), an attractive glossy finish, and a conical shape. It ripens at approximately the same time as the variety ‘Sonata’. The berries store well and the variety is cold-tolerant, but it requires attention to the prevention of powdery mildew and crown rot, especially under field conditions.
