Description: 'Leningradskaya Simfoniya' (Leningrad Symphony) is a magnificent lilac variety known for its dramatic and intense coloring. The panicles are large, dense, and upright, composed of medium-sized single flowers. The buds are dark purple, opening into blossoms of a deep violet-lilac hue that retains its richness even in bright sun. It has a delightful, classic lilac fragrance. The bush is medium-sized, upright, and well-branched with dark green heart-shaped leaves. This variety is exceptionally hardy and disease-resistant. Prefers sunny locations with fertile, well-drained, neutral or slightly alkaline soil.
