Description:

“Chamora Turusi” strawberry is an exceptional late-season “wonder variety,” fruiting from late July to mid-August. It produces large, lush, sprawling bushes with huge, bright-green, slightly crinkled leaves. There are very few runners (stolons), but they are thick and strong. The berries of “Chamora Turusi” are large to very large, weighing from 90 to 150 grams, rounded-conical in shape, and richly red-raspberry in color. The flesh is pink, juicy, and entirely sugar-sweet. This variety consistently amazes with its hardiness, giant size, and enchantingly honeyed taste of the berries. The fruits remain steadily sweet regardless of the weather conditions! It never suffers from frost damage, even during winters with little snow.
