Description: Smooth hydrangea ‘Strong Annabelle’ is an improved variety with strong stems that support huge, spherical flower heads (up to 30–35 cm) of pure white color. At the beginning of flowering, they have a light lemon tint and turn green toward the end of the season. The shrub is compact (up to 90 cm tall and 1–1.8 m wide), fast-growing, very frost-hardy, and undemanding, flowering abundantly from July to September on current-season shoots without requiring staking.
