Syringa General Pershing

Plant age: 2-3 y.

A French-bred variety by Lemoine, 1924. The shrub reaches a height of 3–3.5 meters, with upright, sturdy branches. The buds are lilac. The flowers are double and large (up to 3 cm in diameter), consisting of 2–3 incomplete, closely arranged corollas. The petals are slightly pointed and curved inward, lilac on the outside, and pinkish-lilac with a bluish hue on the inside. The inflorescences are large, broad pyramidal, and pleasantly fragrant. Blooming is abundant, mid-season, and lasts for two or more weeks.
